Description
Guess who is back in making animated sprites for the game that I`ll start replaying this December! 
Just to note you all, no Minotaur in the game actually has this color of their loincloth this one has, just like how no Werewolf with neon pink underwear appears in the game as well, I more think that Cyrus only recolored it in order to make coloring the background in much easier for himself. Their actual colors (of their loincloths) are blue (Minotaur), yellow (Minotaur Mage) and red (Minotaur King), respectively. And again, an OC, you can make, but you cannot make the original species out of this one as well, since it looks the same others look in the game as well ... and besides, it`s from the game in the 1st place as well, thus yeah, not worth trying if you ask me.
Minotaurs. Yeah, this game has them and as much as you can see from this fella over here, they surely have one unique design with their top half being that of a feral-looking bull with red eyes and the bottom half being the actual human half. According to lore, they were made by Agar before he created the Eyes as well (not Antagarich`s Beholders though, since Clanker apparently made these if we check the game lore of Might and Magic VII more when playing it and I had checked it all when I had replayed it this very summer) in order to try drive them out of Castle Kriegspire after they (Minotaurs) had driven him out, also leaving the Memory Crystal behind (and where he (Agar) also says in his diary that "we" (since it isn`t addressed to anyone in the 1st place) should "never cross a bull with anything!"). I still wonder why does the Castle (which can be considered their hub as well, since you can see small groups of them patrol it and its paths all time around, even if the ones you meet at the snowy part of the landscape are kind-of exceptional) contains Drakes inside as well though, since Agar`s Pets, I completely understand (as I can safely assume they were made first), but Drakes? Yeah, I`ve got nothing except the suspicion that 3DO probably used them in order to ramp up the challenge when your parties do go that far in order to hinder your progress towards the aforementioned Memory Crystal further and to further link us all to Dragon Riders, even though you don`t get Drakes in the actual Caves of the Dragon Riders at all, only in front of it.
This aside, those dudes are still pretty tough on their own accord and their "King" variant casts Finger of Death as well, thus caution is advised when fighting them either en masse (normal Minotaurs and Minotaur Mages) or solo (Minotaur Kings). When compared to their MM7 variants though, you can then say that they`re pretty much pushovers, since Minotaur Headsmen and Minotaur Lords are much worse than this, the former being able to make your party members batshit insane and the latter being able to insta-kill them. Still, caution is advised, especially when you`re low-leveled ... and yes, the game also uses them as hidden bosses, as apparent by a special Minotaur King you can meet in Castle Kriegspire called "Lurch", even though I really don`t know what to think of him, to be honest, since he is just there without any lore behind at all and even after this time I really dunno how is he so significant in order to have a custon name to himself. Maybe he was the 1st one Agar ever made ... or he was assigned to be the special guard to the Memory Crystal or something. Either case, he is a miniboss and the game treats him as such as well (since yes, unlike MM7 and MM8, MM6 has the largest amount of bosses and minibosses you can find in any MM game I know to-this date, since I dunno about others, as I never played them. Maybe DanVzare could shed more light about them, especially when regarding Might and Magic III~).
